The Year 2008

Well here we are the beginning of a new year with new adventures ahead of us. Christmas has come and gone and the year 2007 has come to an end. It is time to make those dreaded new year resolutions. I was reading a friends blog and she came up with a good idea rather than making a bunch of resolutions to just concentrate on one word. I actually like that idea so the word that I have picked is Courage. I need to work on this because it seems that my courage has left when my mom passed away last year.

Christmas was good for us here in Vegas. It was just us again here to celebrate. The boys had fun and I think that they got what they wanted. Jake and Trent got two joint gifts which were a Power Tour Guitar to be able to help them learn how to play. They also got the new Star Wars Lego video game for the Nintendo DS. They really wanted the WII but we couldn't find one to be able to get it.
Jake got clothes and I think the best gift that he liked was his inventions book. He is very intrested in science.

Trent got some new shoes and I think the most favorite toy that he got was his nerf gun. Both the boys got one but Trent really loves his. Eric got a new travel kit to be able to take on his trips for his new job. Eric flew out to Dallas, Tx today to start the training for his new job. He is going to be in Dallas for Today until Friday and then he will be home until Sunday and will be flying back out to Dallas to finish up his training. And then the following week he will be in Chicago. He will then be home for a while. Eric's new job is going to have him traveling for training other AT&T reps. This is the type of job that he has wanted for a long time.

As for me I will be going back to school this year to get my Master's Degree. I will be starting on the 22nd of the month and will be doing it online through Universtiy of Phoenix again. I will be going for my Master's in Elementary Education. The boys will be going back to school on the 7th of the month until the end of Feb and then they will be on Track break. I have been able to get things around the house caught up. I am hoping to be able to have a great year this year. And only want good things to happen to everyone.
